As we all know biking and walking more (active transportation) is great for our health and great for our communities – reducing congestion, reducing pollution, getting exercise, and giving us more opportunities to meet each other and build community. Nonetheless, many are concerned about safety when they bike. The League of American Bicyclists has developed the Smart Cycling course to teach people how to stay safe when bicycling. VTA and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department have partnered to deliver Smart Cycling courses in our community. Please visit vta.org/SmartCycling to learn more and sign up for one of these classes. Please spread the word! Thanks!
