The City of Cupertino is partnering with the Northwest Y and Walk-Bike Cupertino to offer family bicycle education!  From 9 AM to 11 AM on September 22nd or 23rd, local kids aged 8 – 17 and an accompanying parent can learn the basics of bicycle street smarts at Northwest YMCA.  An in-class presentation will be followed by parking lot skills drills, all taught by League Certified Instructors.  Here are the details:

 All attendees need a bike in working condition (multi-speed bike preferred over 1 speed) and a properly-fitting helmet.
