Safe Routes to School November Meeting

November 13, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Hello Safe Routes to School enthusiasts,

Attached, please find our November newsletter. Topics in this month’s issue include information on how to use the brand new green turn boxes along McClellan Road at the intersections of Bubb and Stelling, news that we’ve been working with three robotics teams on infrastructure ideas they’re all working on for a Lego League competition, an infrastructure update, and more!

Also, next Wednesday, November 13, 4-5pm is Cupertino’s monthly Safe Routes to School Working Group meeting. In addition to our standard infrastructure update and Safe Routes program update, two presentations are on the agenda. First, one of the groups of robotics students who have contacted us will unveil the bike safety ideas they’re working on for the Lego League robotics competition. We can’t wait to see what kinds of ideas they have! Then, Lawson parent Seema Lindskog will give a presentation on the Walk and Roll Day she helped organize this fall. Please join us!

Our Working Group is held the second Wednesday of every month, 4-5pm at Cupertino City Hall’s Conference Room C: 10300 Torre Ave (downstairs), except December and July, when there is no meeting. If you have any suggestions for January’s meeting, please let us know!

Ride on,
