Several students at the Monta Vista High School & Kennedy Middle School created a website to organize an online walkathon to raise funds for Valley Medical Center, which is on the frontline of treating patients with COVID-19. Their goal is also to encourage everyone to walk daily and stay healthy.

Under the current Shelter-in-Place order,  people can still go out to exercise, walking, running or biking with social distancing. Welcome to check out their website at  coronaviruswalk.org

“While burning those calories, you are also helping those in need. For every mile you walk, five or ten dollars will be donated to the Valley Medical Center Foundation, who is urgently seeking donations to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in Santa Clara County (https://vmcfoundation.org/). You can participate as a sponsor, walker, or both. Start pledging or start logging in those miles today!” Thank you for making a difference in winning the battle against the Coronavirus!
